Over 3.000 people visited the theatre on the 2nd edition of the Doors Open Day - an event dedicated to the community of Cluj, to the current and future spectators of the theatre.
The event takes place annually on 27 March, The World Theatre Day, when the theatre community celebrates this art.
This year’s event took place between 12pm and 10pm, inviting the audience to a lange series of activities dedicated to various audience categories.
The spectators were invited to join the backstage visits guided by actors of the theatre, opened to the cabins, the stage and the lifts of the theatre.
The children’s corner invited the more than 200 children present to an itinerant and interactive performance, guided by Marian Râlea and actors from the theatre, on the world of the flowers.
The Main Hall was full during the meeting with Florin Piersic, as the audience had the opportunity to listen to stories about theatre. Also, Florin Piersic presented together with Cluj-Napoca National Theatre’s actor Petre Băcioiu a fragment of BOEING-BOEING, one of the most successful productions of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre, staring Florin Piersic.
The special event of the evening was the literature corner, honored by the writers and journalist Emil Hurezeanu and Cristian Tudor Popescu. The audience had questions and interventions together with the host, Ion Vartic, the manager of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre, and his guestsfrom Cluj: Ion Pop, Ovidiu Pecican, Adrian Popescu and Ion Mureşan.
A bookshop and a video exhibition with photos and posters of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre were also available during the event.
