The first edition of Doors open day was one of the most successful events of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre. Over 1.500 people visited the theatre during this day.
From 12pm until 7pm the current and the future spectators of the theatre were invited to visit the video exhibition of photos and posters of the theatre.
The backstage tours were guided by actors of the theatre and gave the spectators the opportunity to visit the actors’ cabins, the main stage and the stage lifts.
The day started with the Children’s corner by Marian Râlea. The actor, together with actors from the theatre gave the children the opportunity to play "The Theatre Game", an journey through the history of theatre.
The literature corner was moderated by Ion Vartic, Cluj-Napoca National Theatre’s manager. The event was very successful, as the audience had the opportunity to meet a large number of writers from Cluj - Ruxandra Cesereanu, Mihai Dragolea, Florina Ilis, Ion Mureşan, Dora Pavel, Ovidiu Pecican, Marta Petreu and Alexandru Vlad. They red fragments of their writings and offered books written by them for the spectators with the best questions. The meeting was accompanied at the piano by the composer, conductor and professor Cornel Ţăranu, who played his own compositions.
The open rehearsal was another successful event. The Main Hall of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre was full as the audience was willing to assist to a theatre rehearsal. They had the opportunity to see a rehearsal for BLUE SHADOW by Bryan Reynolds, directed by Răzvan Mureşan, before its opening.
