What would we become if we had the power to make only the choises we want? What would a life protected against the need to act as expected look like?
If we weren’t to choose between what is possible and what we would like to be possible, than what would be the relevance of the act to chose? The gate is the separation between what we seem to be and what we are, but also a portal to what we wish we were. We only have to have the courage to discover our limits and to accept them in order to be able to move on to our real interior selves. The imposed limits outline the space of the permanent confrontation between an olready existing image of the self, a construction ment to protect us on one hand, and, on the other, the need to explore what we really are, an honest and uncomfortable search. Passing through the gate involves the courage to look inside yourself, to identify in the inner darkness your real, naked and fragile form, and to accept it. Only when we are at peace with ourselves will we be at peace with what is on the outside.
How many of us are willing to make this step?
