Cluj-Napoca "Lucian Blaga" National Theatre is a public cultural institution with legal personality, subordinated to the Ministry of Culture, financed from subsidies from the state budget and own revenues.
The mission of the Cluj-Napoca "Lucian Blaga" National Theatre is to produce theatre productions, to provide a framework for the local and national theater and performance art research, to increase the artistic and professional theatre environment and improving the cultural development of the city and of wider community
The objectives for achieving this mission are:
- promoting Romanian and universal, classical, modern and contemporary dramaturgy;
- promoting children's theater;
- promoting young creators;
- promoting alternative and experimental theatrical forms;
- increase the performance of the artistic personnel;
- developing a professional framework for discussion;
- improved collaboration with other art institutions;
- improving the strategy of attracting extra budgetary funds.
