THE BOLD SOPRANO by Eugène Ionesco, directed by Gábor Tompa, 4.48 PSYCHOSIS by Sarah Kane, directed by Mihai Măniuţiu, and 4.48 PSYCHOSIS by Sarah Kane, directed by Răzvan Mureşan, were selected to participate in the National Theatre Festival.



On Tuesday 23 June 2009 at 2 pm, Cluj-Napoca National Theatre organizes a PRESS CONFERENCE in the Foyer of the Theatre, 2nd floor, on the occasion of the last premiere of the 2008-2009 theatre season, with the opening of THE BALD SOPRANO by Eugène Ionesco, directed by Gábor Tompa.



HOW TO EXPLAIN THE HISTORY OF COMMUNISM TO MENTAL PATIENTS, by Matei Vişniec, directed by Mona Chirilă, opens on Wednesday, 17 June, in the Cluj-National Theatre’s Studio "Euphorion", at 7pm.



HECUBA by Euripides, translated to Romanian by Alexandru Pop and directed by Cristian Nedea opens on Saturday, 13 June, at the Saint Josef Chapel in Cipariu Square (entrance A), at 9pm, presented by Cluj-Napoca National Theatre.

The performance launches the Program "Great actors of Cluj", which addresses the audience of different age categories interested in seeing back on the stage important actors of Cluj-Napoca National Theatre.
