Management projects competition for Cluj-Napoca National Theatre
Results of the first phase – management projects’ analysis

The competition’s committee announces, according to the Statute for organizing and the process of the management projects competition for Cluj-Napoca National Theatre, approved by the no. 2527/2010 Ordinance of the Ministry of Culture and National Patrimony, the results of the first phase - management projects’ analysis:

2) Mihai MĂNIUŢIU - ADMITTED

3) Gelu Adrian BADEA - NOT ADMITTED

Canceled performance

The performance Midsummer Nights Dream by W. Shakespeare scheduled for Tuesday 12 October 2010, is canceled due to technical difficulties in insuring the needed heating both for the actors and for the audience.

The tickets can be reimbursed at the ticket agency or will be available, on request, for the performance on 30 October 2010.

Please note that starting Sunday 17 October 2010 this problem will be fixed and, starting with this date, the performances will be presented as scheduled.

The dance-theatre production BOSCH opens at Cluj-Napoca National Theatre on Friday, 8 October at 7pm, as the second premiere of the 2010/2011 season. Script, choreography and direction: Marc Bogaerts (Belgium), set and costume design: Cristian Rusu. Cast: Bosch - Radu Lărgeanu; Bosch’s alter ego - Cristian Grosu; Bosch’s wife - Ramona Dumitrean / Romina Merei; Sagesse - Miriam Cuibus; Madam Seduction - Angelica Nicoară; Mister Anger - Cătălin Herlo; Madam Faith - Eva Crişan; Madam Faithful - Irina Wintze; Mister Greed - Ionuţ Caras; Mister Passion - Ruslan Bârlea; Mister Justice - Miron Maxim; Mister Shadow - Cătălin Codreanu. Lighting design: Jenel Moldovan; muzic: Aubry; assistant directors: Olivia Grecea, Suzana Saleh.

2010/2011 season opening Press conference

Cluj-Napoca National Theatre organizes a press conference on Wednesday, 29 September 2010, 2am, on the opening of the 2010-2011 season.

 

The press conference will be attended Radu Afrim (director of LAST MESSAGE TO THE WOMAN HE ONCE LOVED IN THE FORMER SOVIET UNION by David Greig, which opens on 2 October), Marc Bogaerts (director of Bosch, which opens on 8 October), and members of the cast of the two productions.
