A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM by W. Shakespeare, translated to Romanian by Şt. O. Iosif, opens at Cluj-Napoca National Theatre on Sunday, 7 March at 7pm, as the first production to be presented in the "2010 - The Year of Comedy" Program.
The performance is directed by Sorin Militaru, the set is designed by Cristian Rusu, and the original music was composed by Vlaicu Golcea.
The avant-premiere will take place on Saturday, 6 March at 7pm.
On this occasion, a press conference will be held on Wednesday, 3 March 2010, at the second floor foyer, at 2:30pm. Members of the creative team and the cast will be present.
The Theatre Union of Romania (UNITER) announced the nominees for the 17th Edition of the UNITER Gala. The actor IONUŢ CARAS is one of the nominees for Best Actor, for his portrayal of Gurevici in WALPURGISNACHT or STEPS OF THE COMMODORE by Venedikt Erofeev, directed by Mihai Măniuţiu.
