The Theatre Union of Romania (UNITER) announced the nominees for the 17th Edition of the UNITER Gala. The actor IONUŢ CARAS is one of the nominees for Best Actor, for his portrayal of Gurevici in WALPURGISNACHT or STEPS OF THE COMMODORE by Venedikt Erofeev, directed by Mihai Măniuţiu.
The members of the nominalizations jury were Ion Cocora, Mircea Morariu and Doina Papp, theatre critics.
The Gala will take place on 19 April 2010.
The UNITER Gala takes place annually, since 1991, offering awards for each year. The awards are given based on the nominations of a jury. A second jury secretly votes, in the evening of the Gala, the winners of each prize.
UNITER awards prizes for: Best Performance, Best Director, Best Set Designer, Best Actor, Best Actress, Theatre Critic, Radio Theatre, TV Theatre, Debut.
